About Evolution Dance & Entertainment

Evolution Dance and Entertainment (EDE) is in it's tenth year of operation having been formed in January 2000.   EDE specialises in

• Modern Jive, aka Le Roc, dance classes, and has prestigious venues at Swanley, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Gillingham and Herne Bay
• DJ and entertainment for weddings and parties

EDE has operated very popular and hugely succesful social events across the south east.   EDE has also worked for several local government bodies (Worthing BC, Brighton BC and many schools ) and commercial organisations (Eurotunnel, David Lloyd Leisure and Bannatyne's Health and Fitness).

Dance Teaching

EDE is headed by Julian Hansford (aka Jules), a very accomplished dancer, teacher and promoter.  Jules holds the Le Roc Modern Jive Teaching Certificate, which is recognised by the prestigious United Kingdom Alliance of Dance Teachers. In addition Jules has gained experience across a wide spectrum of Jive related dance styles with some of the worlds' leading dancers and teachers.

Jules is ably supported by an enthusiastic and very capable team of extremely experienced teachers, coaches, DJs and Crew members, all of whom love to share their love of dancing and entertainment.

Over the last ten years EDE has worked with and alongside most of the major national names, champions etc in the Modern Jive world and has been pleased to have been at the forefront of the development of the industry on the south coast.

Entertainment

Jules and the DJ team have DJ'ed for major events at most of the best venues in the south east.  All DJs share a passion for music and giving guests a great party night.  Only the best equipment is used.
